I have learned the hard way that communicating via text can be easily misinterpreted and a major buzzkill. Therefore, today's tip is to press call more often.
I fault my brother all the time for calling me at inopportune times. In hindsight, I appreciate that he prefers a good talk. When he feels like catching up, he always makes the call. I am definitely the texting queen, and need to get past the awkwardness of actually talking on the phone with friends and family.
I was thinking about how it was in the old days prior to texting. A text message can never make up for hearing the voices of the people you love.

DeleteTotally agree. I have gotten to the point that I cannot stand texting. I get a text and call to respond, depending on the time of day or who the person is. I hate how modern day life is losing it's humanity - I think the text message is the cause of everyone being such an introvert.
ReplyDeleteYou hit the nail on the head with it causing people to become more introverted. I think it's great that your doing something about it! I may need to go to Texting Anonymous! Haha!
