Lendy Lately

What's been going on lately? I have been focusing on having a more intentional summer and enjoying all the little moments with Luna. Though, I will admit in the process I have put myself on the back burner.  No worries, I'm on my way back.  Aside from from that, here's what I've been up to lately...  

I have been reading a lot of Mary Kubica and Tana French, and some Brené Brown as well.  

In an effort to clear my soul of all the horrific events and crazy politics, I have been watching things that make me laugh.  Grace and Frankie, The Bachelorette and Catastrophe.  I also must say, thank goodness for  Michelle Obama. 

Almost on the daily, I have been laughing and hanging out with my fantastic friend, Carrie. 

I am obsessed with backpacks (this may be a mom thing).  They are so liberating! I recently bought this one and this one. 

I got preschool on the brain! Luna will be beginning preschool next month, and I have mixed emotions about it, but I am excited at the same time.  Luna's preschool backpack made her so happy, which in turn showed me how ready she is. 

Lastly, I have no shame in admitting these summer days of being stuck indoors have called for more dinner outings.  Mimi's garlic chicken, Express Sushi's sashimi and Royal Kebab's chicken breast and greek salad have been on repeat.
