I recently attended a Vision Board Party hosted by Bricia and Paulina of Super Mamás at the Munchkin headquarters, and it was the first time in a long time where I felt the joy of an all-female gathering. The energy amongst us was magical.
To be honest, I spent most of the evening smiling, talking and embracing women I have met through social media, and not much time on creating my board. It was worth it to relish in the moment. Lucky for me, I had already started a vision board so I knew exactly what my goals are for 2017.
Not only was this night held at the amazing Munchkin headquarters and the food was on another level, but the night did not stop there. They also provided energy cleansings by Marcela Arrieta and Michael Espinoza, and of course I could not pass this up. We all patiently waited in the cold night air for an opportunity to cleanse our energy and return to a calmer state of mind. One of the tips I took away from Marcela was how to shut down the energy after you have encountered a negative person. It is important to stop the energy by simply saying "cut it off." This will help cut the energy they were emitting your way. I think by verbally cutting off the energy flow it can help you move on and not become part of the hurricane like Marcela put it. Whether you are a believer of alternative medicine or, it certainly doesn't hurt to try.
Now I have returned to my regular routine, holiday duties and have completed my 2017 vision board, I am trying to keep the energy of this night alive. I don't want to lose it. I want to use the magic of this evening to propel me to conquer what I have set out to do in 2017 and this gathering of extraordinary females has restored my faith in the power of women who support one another.
