Friday Favorites

Hey guys! What are you up to this weekend?  I survived my week as a single stay-at-home mom, and I'm happily relieved my husband has returned from his business trip. Now, where's the wine?! I am looking forward to the three musketeers being together again. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and don't forget Monday we begin the #TPLFitFebruary challenge. Here are this week's favorites... 

Favorite Quote: Keep Laughing All Week via Design Love Fest. Lets just make it a point to laugh more plus it burns up to 40 calories in 15 minutes!

Favorite Flowers: Red Ranunculus via Style Me Pretty. A change of pace from traditional roses for Valentine's Day would be a nice surprise.  Think ranunculus, tulips or peonies.  

Favorite Mommy + Me: Yoko Mono Family Sock Set via Chatty Feet. These socks are the bee's knees.  Luna loves it when we match, and we both happen to like cute socks. 

Favorite Made Me Laugh: Gemma Correll's wine-drinking cat. Looks good to me! 

Favorite Etsy Find: Vintage Globe via Roberta Grove. In our house we love maps, and I am thinking it would be great to incorporate some globes in Luna's big girl room. The vintage light up globes are my faves. 

Favorite Cake: PB&J sandwich cake via Subtle Revelry.  This is so simple, and at the same time so magical.  

Favorite Song of the Week: Valio la Pena by Marc Anthony because it reminds me of my husband and its a hot salsa song.

Friday Favorites

What are your weekend plans? This week I have been in my head, which, of course, causes me to have horrible sleep. Nothing bad necessarily, just goals and life.  Luckily my husband has a three day weekend, so hopefully I can catch up on some much-needed zzzzzz's. It is going to rain all weekend, but maybe we will bundle up and have breakfast at my new favorite spot, Bloom Coffee. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and here are this week's favorites...

Favorite Beauty: Sonia Kashuk 10-piece brush set-via Target.com If your not a huge makeup girl like me, then these brushes are for us. 

Favorite Fitness: Garmin watch is a must-have for runners, and I am coveting one big time. The one below is  Forerunner 220, but I have my eye on this 230. 

Favorite Made Me Laugh: This coffee mug is funny. This one is no longer available, but they have a this one.  

Favorite Cake: Purple Galaxy Layer cake.-via Sweetapolita. Luna's Birthday is in 20 days, and her favorite color is purple.  This would blow her mind! 

Favorite Home Decor: Geometric Brass Wall Hanging -via Electric Sun Creatives. I love that this is a local maker in my area, and her pieces are beautiful.  

Favorite Song of the Week: Even Flow by Pearl Jam has been my favorite running song lately. 

Friday Favorites + Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas & Feliz Navidad! What are you up to this weekend? Leftovers and more celebrations? We had a great Christmas Eve celebration at my in-laws yesterday, and today we are spending a quiet Christmas day at home in our pj's and letting Luna tinker with her new toys. Then tomorrow we are heading to San Luis Obispo to celebrate with my family.  Hope you have a joyous weekend, and here are this week's favorites...

Favorite Quote: Some days you eat salads...-via Jenn Gietzen. Perfect quote for today! Christmas day is definitely a cupcakes and no pants kinda day. 

Favorite Shoes: Nike Genicco Spot trainers- photo via Asos. These are only $34 bucks, and they are super cute.  I also have my eye on these and these.  

Favorite Manicure: Ella + Mila Mommy & Me Polish Set-photo via Anthropologie. Recently Luna has gotten into having her nails painted.  I am dying to order us a few of these sets.

Favorite Blouse: Lovely Lips Long-sleeved Button up-via Macy's. This top is fun and festive in a more stylish way without being corny!  

Favorite Trend: Bomber Jackets via Vans Girls.  Am I too old for my own embroidered bomber jacket...I think not! I do not have a squad per se, but my husband and Luna count right?! This one is cute and so is a traditional black bomber like one the girls are wearing. 

Favorite Recipe: Candy cane cake-via Raspberri Cupcakes. Luna has been talking about us making a cake for Baby Jesus all week, and guess what the time has come! This is a great way to use all the extra candy canes. 

Favorite Song of the week: Happy Christmas by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
