Friday Favorites

Hey guys! What are you up to this weekend? Since we were gone last weekend, I am looking forward to chillaxing.  The weather is cooling down a little so I am especially looking forward to our lazy Sunday tradition.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and here are this week's favorites...

Favorite Toddler find: Braided Princess Crown -via Cup of Jo. Luna is beginning to let me braid her hair and with the warmer days coming, I can't wait to try these Heidi braids. 

Favorite Dress: Salmon lace trim shift dress -via Nordstrom.  Coral (salmon) always makes me think of Spring. I am not big on pastels, but coral is my jam, and its time to go dress shopping. 

Favorite Beauty: Lipstick Queen in Jungle Queen (coral) -via Nordstrom. A few seasons back this was the coral lipstick famous for looking good on everyone.  

Favorite Treat: Grapefruit Popsicles -via Paper & Stitch. I have already begun making popsicles to enjoy in our backyard. 

Favorite Gift idea: Crystal collections -via Soul Makes. This friendship collection would be such a thoughtful gift, and they also have several different options like creativity and happiness. 

Favorite Song of the Week: My girl by The Temptations because it makes me happy! Luna and I break this down in our kitchen.  

Friday Favorites

Happy Easter! What are you up to this weekend?  We have a busy weekend ahead with ballet class, a birthday party and attending Fairytale Town's Spring Eggstravaganza.  Luna is pretty much having a dream weekend.  I may have to sneak in a glass of this in between.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and here are this week's favorites...

Favorite Food: Peach Caprese -via Homemade Hooplah.  I cannot wait to try this appetizer.  I am allergic to nightshades, so this caprese alternative is right up my alley! 

Favorite Shoes: Rosé All Day Espadrille flats -via Macy's.  Besides water and coffee, lately my drink of choice has been Rosé champagne, and these espadrilles are speaking to me.  

Favorite Book:  Euphoria -via Amazon.  This book has been in my library requests for weeks, and today I finally get to pick it up.  I am looking forward to diving in. 

Favorite Beauty: 12 piece Knock out Sonia Kashuk Brush set -via Target.  These brushes were newly released for Spring and for the mere motivating factor, I must get them. 

Favorite Accessory: MyIntent bracelets. I was lucky enough to have two of these bracelets made during my recent trip to the We All Grow Summit, and I have been wearing mine everyday.  

Favorite Song of the Week: Anything Could Happen by Ellie Goulding.  I've always liked Ellie's songs, and then I saw this post and realized she's a beast and she's so real.  I like that. 

Friday Favorites

What are your weekend plans? This week I have been in my head, which, of course, causes me to have horrible sleep. Nothing bad necessarily, just goals and life.  Luckily my husband has a three day weekend, so hopefully I can catch up on some much-needed zzzzzz's. It is going to rain all weekend, but maybe we will bundle up and have breakfast at my new favorite spot, Bloom Coffee. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and here are this week's favorites...

Favorite Beauty: Sonia Kashuk 10-piece brush set-via Target.com If your not a huge makeup girl like me, then these brushes are for us. 

Favorite Fitness: Garmin watch is a must-have for runners, and I am coveting one big time. The one below is  Forerunner 220, but I have my eye on this 230. 

Favorite Made Me Laugh: This coffee mug is funny. This one is no longer available, but they have a this one.  

Favorite Cake: Purple Galaxy Layer cake.-via Sweetapolita. Luna's Birthday is in 20 days, and her favorite color is purple.  This would blow her mind! 

Favorite Home Decor: Geometric Brass Wall Hanging -via Electric Sun Creatives. I love that this is a local maker in my area, and her pieces are beautiful.  

Favorite Song of the Week: Even Flow by Pearl Jam has been my favorite running song lately. 

Friday Favorites

Happy New Year! What are you doing this weekend? We have been go, go, go for most of December, and this weekend we are planning to ease into the year. Our plan is to go to Luna's dance class, and then relax the rest of the day.  On Sunday we are hosting our friends for pizza and catchup. Hope you have a wonderful first weekend of 2016, and here are this week's favorites.

Favorite Beauty: Stowaway's makeup concept of using smaller containers is brilliant, and I cannot wait to give them a try. 

Favorite Sweatshirt: Hug Dealer sweatshirt via Everfitte. This Etsy shop has a lot of cute workout tops and sweatshirts to lounge in. 

Favorite Exercise: Legs up the wall pose - via Good Relaxation. This has so many benefits, and its super easy! I try to do it everyday, and I will attest it definitely makes me feel more relaxed. 

Favorite Journal: Five-Year Memory Journal -via Anthropologie.  A great way to start a new year is by starting with a fresh new journal.  I find the five year journals to be easier to keep up with. 

Favorite Home Decor: Disco Ball via Kendra Smoot. Luna and I love ourselves a good dance party, and I think we need to begin 2016 with a disco ball in our breakfast nook. 

Favorite Song of the Week: Hotline Bling is Luna's favorite song these days, and its hilarious! She knows the name of the song, and will yell at us to put it louder. I may or may not have something to do with her musical affinities. 

Friday Favorites

What are you up to this weekend? We will be visiting my family in Southern California. I am looking forward to girl time with my mom, hanging with my nephews and trying out Citrus Kitchen and Oke Poke for lunch (it never hurts to research some healthy eats before traveling). Squeezing in a date with my husband would be the icing on the cake. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and here are this week's favorites...

Favorite Outfit: Chunky Knit Cardigan, white tee + jeans via Forever 21. This is what I like for layering these cold days, and pockets are an essential for all moms.

Favorite Beauty Tutorial: Makeup for brown eyes via Simply Sona.  I am by far no makeup genius, and I am a total lip girl, but this is how I wish my eye makeup would look!

Favorite Winter Accessory: Cashmere scarf via J. Crew is so pretty in all colors.  Its a splurge, but worth it to have something extra soft against your neck and face. 

Favorite Song: Baby It's Cold Outside, and especially this version by Idina Menzel & Michael Buble! 

Friday Favorites

What are you up to this weekend? I have a hair appointment with a new hairdresser while my girl is spending a month in Hawaii. Lucky girl and her pre-children freedom! I have decided I am not cutting my hair because her hair is amazing.  We may also explore another local pumpkin patch because Luna loves pumpkins.  Hope you have an awesome weekend, and here my favorites this week.

Favorite Road Trip: Apple Farm in San Luis Obispo is where my husband and I used to go a lot when we were dating.  I can't wait to visit with Luna. 

Favorite Accessory: All Good Pom Beanie. I must-have it!

Favorite Beauty: Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil-Damned is one of my fall favorites, and you have to check it out on Anna!

Friday Favorites

What are you up to this weekend? We are heading up to Apple Hill for some traditional fall fun.  We went last year for the first time and loved it, and now that Luna is two and a half, I am hoping she will enjoy it even more. Its so beautiful up there, I highly recommend it if your are in Northern California in the fall. Hope you have a great weekend, and here are today's favorites.

Favorite Fall Getaway: Lake Tahoe Chalet I'll be right over! Doesn't this cabin look so dreamy?! I definitely want to plan a trip to Lake Tahoe before winter. 

Favorite Outfit: Jeans & Hunters via Shanna Said So. I won't get to wear mine this weekend because they have yet to arrive, but its a good excuse to go back to Apple Hill. 

Favorite Manicure: Orange & Minimalist via nail-common.com This is pretty for October. 

Favorite Accessory: Fall Hair Clip via The Honeycomb is beautiful for a fall wedding or if you want to feel fancy during those pumpkin patch photos. 

Favorite Beauty Product(s): ACURE Day Cream. I recently started using ACURE products, and they are the bomb!

Friday Favorites

Last weekend was a bit tumultuous for my liking, hence, I am hoping for a calm, but fun-filled weekend with my little family. 

Our Friday nights are being spent at our local swim school because we signed Luna up for her first swim class. It is the cutest thing seeing her in the water (even when she makes her foochie face). She loves Finding Nemo, so I can't help but sing Just Keep Swimmin' a al Dori style the whole time we are there. Its actually a great lesson on life!

Favorite Accessory: A simple cross-body purse. The strap on my old cross-body purse broke and I needed something fast and this is perfect. 

Favorite Design Book: The New Bohemians. I follow Justina Blakeney on Instagram and her style is beautiful. I cannot wait to receive her book. 

Favorite Beauty product: Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner.  I am always in search of alcohol free toners. This had been on my shopping list for awhile and it gets a thumbs up. 

Favorite Home find: Dip-Dyed Stool. I found a dip-dyed stool at Home Goods similar to the one linked.  I love little stools because they are multi-functional. Luna takes over ours, but you can also use it for extra seating or as a plant stand.
