Friday Favorites

What are you up to this weekend? I have been helping Luna and my husband get better all week, and I am doing all that is in my power not to catch their cold. Hopefully they will be well enough to enjoy the warm weekend weather, and we can turn on the bubble machine, heat up the outdoor grill (these salmon skewers paired with this sound delicious right?!) and relax.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and here are this week's favorites...

Favorite DIY: Succulent Garden -via The Blondielocks. I have a bunch of empty pots and I can't wait to fill them up with succulents.  I love this bowl garden for an our outdoor table centerpiece. 

Favorite Toddler Find: Glow in the Dark Crescent Pillow -via BambiAndBubble.  We are finally getting serious about updating Luna's room, and I am majorly crushing on these pillows.  

Favorite Recipe: Psychedelic Salad Rolls -via Kate Loves Kale.  I had an avocado veggie roll this week for lunch and I plan to try making them at home.  They're Delicious!  

Favorite Home Decor: City Coordinates Poster -via SITMPrintables.  These posters are so cool.  I love that you can order whatever city you like, and they're simple enough in the black or white to fit in with most decor. 

Favorite Shoes: Topshop Lasercut Flats -via Nordstrom.  I cannot deny I am all about this lace-up shoe trend.  I can't help it.  I think they make my simple jeans and tee outfits look so much better.  

Favorite Song of the Week: Cruisin' by Smokey Robinson because its a jam.  When this song comes on while I am cooking and sipping on wine it makes for the perfect moment.

Hey guys! What are you up to this weekend? Since we were gone last weekend, I am looking forward to chillaxing.  The weather is cooling down a little so I am especially looking forward to our lazy Sunday tradition.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and here are this week's favorites...

Favorite Toddler find: Braided Princess Crown -via Cup of Jo. Luna is beginning to let me braid her hair and with the warmer days coming, I can't wait to try these Heidi braids. 

Favorite Dress: Salmon lace trim shift dress -via Nordstrom.  Coral (salmon) always makes me think of Spring. I am not big on pastels, but coral is my jam, and its time to go dress shopping. 

Favorite Beauty: Lipstick Queen in Jungle Queen (coral) -via Nordstrom. A few seasons back this was the coral lipstick famous for looking good on everyone.  

Favorite Treat: Grapefruit Popsicles -via Paper & Stitch. I have already begun making popsicles to enjoy in our backyard. 

Favorite Gift idea: Crystal collections -via Soul Makes. This friendship collection would be such a thoughtful gift, and they also have several different options like creativity and happiness. 

Favorite Song of the Week: My girl by The Temptations because it makes me happy! Luna and I break this down in our kitchen.

What are you up to this weekend? Tomorrow I am heading to The Village Gathers event in Sacramento.  It is my first time attending an event like this, and I am a little nervous, but excited at the same time. I am looking forward to making new connections.  I am also hoping to shop for some new Nikes and our Sunday tradition of exploring our local parks. Favorite Fall Outfit: All black with Nikes - via Ground 11. I am thinking of sticking mostly to all black this fall and winter.  It would make my life so much easier--maybe I'll stop wasting time in front of my closet! 

Favorite Instagram Account: Jon Boy tattoos are so beautiful, and if you like small tattoos as much as I do, then go check him out! 

Favorite Toddler Find: Little Fairy Door is adorable and I can imagine Luna's little face gleaming to this magic little door. 

Favorite DIY:  DIY Perfume via The Merrythought. This is the perfect way to customize your own scent. 

Favorite Cargo/Family Bike: Trio Bike is a sweet ride. One day Luna and I will have our day on a bike, and I cannot wait.

Friday Favorites

Happy 4th of July weekend! This weekend Luna and I will be nursing my husband back to health so we will be relaxing at home. There is no better place I would rather be!

Favorite Food lately: Crudite platter with hummus is perfect for these hot summer days. I make a platter for us almost daily and even Luna loves it! 

Favorite Toddler Swimsuit: SwimZip Star-Spangled Dots Short-Sleeve Rash Guard. I started following SwimZip (Betsy Johnson) after seeing her on Shark Tank, and when she listed this suit on sale on Instagram, I had to snatch it up for Luna. I am 100% convinced!  

Favorite Coloring Book: Splendid Cities coloring book is in my Amazon cart, and it looks beautiful. As I mentioned here, coloring is very therapeutic! 

Favorite Dress for Fourth of July: Stripe Mini Off-the-Shoulder Dress. I have been loving off the shoulder dresses.  Here is another favorite that comes in pink and navy in a much better price point too!

Favorite Treats: Zoku Mini Pop Molds for healthy smoothie popsicles. I am looking forward to trying these out.
